Chimpanzees — CRYSTAL ALBA

These chimpanzees are all residents of Project Chimps, a sanctuary in Blue Ridge, GA for chimps retiring from medical research. For over 3 years, I had the privilege of working with these chimpanzees every day, and photographing them as they play, groom each other, enjoy enrichment, or just rest. However, in March of this year, I left the sanctuary after over a year of advocating for these chimps to get better care. They rarely go outdoors, their living conditions are unsanitary, and medical care is minimal. Now, I continue speaking out on their behalf, along with other whistleblowers at www.HelpTheChimps.org
